Safety Issues

Yet again we have had incidents in Umhlanga and in Shongweni over the past couple of weeks. In both cases the rider combination was husband & wife. PLEASE, as we have said in the past, do not ride in small numbers. This is an open invitation for the criminal element in our society. Riders are now routinely using the same routes on expensive bikes and carry cell phones etc. By riding in ones, twos or even threes you might as well hang up a sign!

If you can’t friends to ride with, join the guided rides.

If any of you have a regular meeting place, on regular days, please send details which we can put up onto the website, so that loners know where to find groups.

We have our AGM coming up next week and additional security means will be discussed, but this will have cost implications.

ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE BE SENSIBLE AND DON’T OFFER YOURSELVES AS TARGETS FOR HIJACKERS
