Applications to renew your EMBA licence for 2022 are now open.

Ride Times – a major change

Excellent news for all riders who have long wanted more ride times during the week.  After lengthy negotiations it has now been agreed that the following ride times will apply.  This will be reviewed annually, so please help us by not riding outside these times.  In addition, riders must be licensed.  Unlicensed riders jeopardise these concessions.  Please, if you come across unlicenced riders, ask them to comply.  A permanent board works out at about R55.00 per month.

   RIDE TIMES:    All regions               Mon-Fri    06h00 – 11h00        AND            15h30 – 18h00

                            All regions             Sat/Sun/Public Holidays             05h00 – 18h00

Your 2021 EMBA board is valid until 31 December 2021.  The 2022 board can be used from 01 December 2021 and will be valid to 31 December 2022

The application process for 2022 is as follows.

2021 licence holders need not complete the application form.  They will need to advise Margie of any changes to details, but thereafter she will only require your PoP and confirmation of Club for 2022.

If you need a replacement board for your sticker you will need to request it.

All new applicants (including those who held a permit prior to 2021) will need to complete the application form and provide the usual photo, PoP and Club for 2022

All riders must belong to one of the affiliated clubs, as listed below

As background, EMBA was formed as an association of clubs who approached Tongaat Hulett for permission to use their land.  As per our agreement with them all riders who want an EMBA permit need to belong to one of the clubs that have signed the agreement with TH.
