2012 Renewals (for existing licence holders), open on 01  October.  Your current licence is valid until 31 December.  As an existing holder you have preference when applying for your 2012 licence.  From 01 December, new applications will be considered on a first-come-first served basis.

TONGAAT HULETT LAND
Tongaat-Hulett Sugar (TH) have agreed to allow limited access to their land for the purpose of mountain biking. This is a step wise process starting with the issuing of a limited amount of full licenses. TH want to maintain control over the number of cyclists accessing their land and as such have limited the amount of licenses that may be issued.  Once a level of trust has been established between TH and all the cyclists using their land, we may progress to greater access. This is a major step forward as far as land access is concerned and right now it is important to remember that access to TH land is a privilege and not a right.

The TH licenses can only be obtained through one of the clubs associated with EMBA (eThekwini Mountain Bike Association) – refer to the affiliated clubs page.  This body has been set up as a central point to control licensing and as the direct communication link between TH and the various cycle clubs. The EMBA committee is made up of representatives from each club with a secretary to handle all administration.
How to apply:

Only Club Members of an Affiliated Club may apply for an EMBA licence.
